Eight hour Kenai River Fishing Trips in drift boats, available daily, on the upper twelve miles of the Kenai River.

Kenai River Canyon Full Day $300.00

Eight to nine hour drift boat trips, including the last three miles of the Canyon on the upper Kenai River.

Middle River/Lower River Full Day $300.00

Eight to nine hour drift boat trips on the Kenai River, below Skilak lake.

Half Day Upper River Trips $200.00

Four hour upper Kenai River Fishing Trips offer anglers a taste of either trout or salmon fishing. Target species vary based on angler preference and salmon run times. Morning and afternoon trips are available daily.

*All prices are per person per day. The twenty foot Willie Drift Boats used for all trips are designed for four anglers and your guide. Your guide will supply high quality rods, reels and tackle at no additional charge. Waders or hip boots can be provided upon request. Meet time and location are set the day before the trip. This is to provide the best possible trip based on current fishing and water conditions. Kenai River Trout Anglers practices catch and release on all Rainbow Trout and Arctic Char (Dolly Varden). All Kenai National Wildlife trips operated under Kenai Experience as JJ Brown Is a employee of this company.

What To Bring

What’s included

  • 6 or 7 weight Sage fly rod (Trout Dolly’s ) 8 and 9 weight Reddinton fly rod (Salmon)
  • Temple Fork Spinning rods.
  • Waders and wading boots.
  • All flies, tackle, and necessary gear to catch fish.
  • Salmon fillet and cleaning.
  • Padded drift boat seats with heater if needed.
  • Cooper Landing pick up and drop off at lodges, hotels, and campgrounds.

Where To Meet

Your guide will meet you at the boat launch according to the section of water you will fish as follows.

Upper Kenai River

The Cooper Landing Bridge– mile marker 48.5 off the Sterling Highway.

Sportsman’s Boat Launch– mile marker 55 off the Sterling Highway.

Kenai River Canyon

Sportsman’s Boat Launch– mile marker 58 off the Sterling Highway.

Middle/Lower Kenai

Due to the many options for starting points, meeting locations will be determined on a trip by trip bases.

*A 50 percent deposit will be collected at time of booking. A cancelation 30 days before all Kenai River Trips a will receive deposit back less a 10 percent processing fee. Cancelations within 30 days of trip will result in loss of deposit
